How I Can Help
Early Intervention Consultation Services (Birth-5)
I provide early intervention consultation services designed to support your child’s communication development within the context of everyday routines and meaningful interactions. Services are tailored to each child and family, with a strong emphasis on functional communication, caregiver coaching, and practical carryover into daily life.
For children birth to five years old, services are offered through a consultation-based model. These sessions focus on empowering caregivers with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to support their child’s communication development during natural routines such as play, mealtime, and daily interactions. Rather than direct therapy, consultations are designed to guide and support you in creating meaningful opportunities for growth throughout your child’s day.
During consultations, I provide individualized recommendations, answer questions, and help problem-solve challenges related to speech and language development, social communication, and early foundational skills. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your family’s needs, ensuring strategies are realistic, effective, and easy to implement at home.
I am a provider with the Alta California Regional Center. Families of children under age 3 are encouraged to contact Alta Regional Center directly through self-referral to request an evaluation and determine eligibility for early intervention services.
Consultations are conducted via phone or video, with limited in-person options available depending on location and availability.

In need of intensive feeding or therapy services that require in-person, ongoing intervention
Regional Center (Birth - 3 years) - How to Get Started
Step 1: Contact Alta Regional Center
Families of children under age 3 are encouraged to self-refer by contacting the Alta California Regional Center. You can request a developmental evaluation to determine eligibility for early intervention services. Referrals can be made by calling your local Alta Regional Center office or submitting a referral online.
Step 2: Complete the Evaluation Process
Alta Regional Center will coordinate an evaluation to assess your child’s development and determine eligibility for services. If your child qualifies, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) will be developed.
Step 3: Begin Services
If services are recommended and authorized, you may request Sierra Pines Speech Therapy & Myofunctional Services as your provider. Services will begin based on your child’s individual needs and your family’s goals.
Step 4: Consultation & Ongoing Support
For children ages 3–5 or for families seeking private consultation, you may contact me directly to schedule services. I’m happy to guide you through next steps and help determine the best fit for your child.
