Services Offered

Introduction of solids (6 months - 12 months)

  • Parents will learn to:

    • Identify your baby’s signs of readiness for solid food introduction

    • Prepare and present foods that are developmentally appropriate for your child

    • Reduce anxiety/frustration surrounding baby starting solids

    • Know the difference between gagging and choking

    • Respond appropriately if signs of choking are present

    • Demonstrate a stress-free mealtime environment to your baby

    • Have fun watching your baby learn new skills for feeding!

Identification of more complex feeding disorders

  • Sensory aversions or processing disorders

  • Pharyngeal dysfunction that presents as high-risk for aspiration

Provide appropriate referrals as needed

  • Assist in redirecting to appropriate provider or therapist to address concerns that are out of scope or are unable to be provided
